The short version
There are no accounts on this site. The Finder runs in your browser, and your answers are not sent to us. We use two analytics tools to understand which pages are useful.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits, see which pages are read and which links are clicked. IP addresses are anonymized. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymous interaction data such as clicks and scrolling so we can find layout problems. Both tools set cookies or similar identifiers. You can read their policies at policies.google.com/privacy and privacy.microsoft.com.
You can block these tools with any content blocker, or with Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Links to other sites
Pages link to the tools we compare. Once you leave this site, the other site's privacy policy applies. Some links may be referral links; see the About page for how we handle them.
If you email us, we use your address only to reply. We do not add it to a mailing list or share it.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block abuse.
